In my dreams Envoloped in darkness Within a house That intended to portray The house of the dead Never seen in reality Ominous and cold A basket with clothes Belonging to my Grandfather Laying near the place of flames Awake I could see all of this Right in front of me I heard chattering of voices Looking up I saw outside There were familar faces Only two I wanted to see The others do not matter to me My Grandparents with love Aunt, Uncle and Cousins Not vanishing away A few moments later They entered the darkness Grandmother sits in a chair Beckons to me to come I am not a child This running through my veins She says sit on my lap I do as she asks Not understanding Not wanting to stay I woke up right then And wanted to pray That I would never have another Of these dreams come my way "Creation of woman from the rib of Man: She was not made from his head to top him; nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by him; but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved." -Unknown |

This would be a wonderful addition to the book! "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde |

This really is more than just a good description of a dream. It feels like a real dream. Great job of presenting the image here. Thanks. Pete |
