A well springs dream Into my older years she waltzed, On a bridge of words embossed. Across poetic chime and rhyme, That took me to another time. A time of grace and fashioned lace. A time of care and gentle pace. A time of sun and docile light. A time of soft and tender night. That set me in a mental frame. Of youthful young still lit in flame. That warmed my heart in gentle mock. Setting springtime on my clock. It flavored day with scented balm And set my heart in wild alarm. Bringing blitz to breathless pause, And charging words like mad applause. I'd sit in muse and dream of her, Of what she said and what occurred. I'd mull about her news convey, And my place in the interplay. And when it came to say goodbye, The smallest tear would leave my eye. And I would pine the loss of goal, The loss and exit of her soul. And all I wished, was turn around, To live again the lost I found. |

This is so beautiful. Too bad it's just a dream. If it were real, just these words would bring her back. Liz |

Oh Seymour this is absolutley gorgeous!! beautifully written. Yes, I am here, but I am dead, not alive, my body goes on, my spirit has died, and I though alive, feel dead inside. "Rose Petal" |
