Love Will Come Sequestered spirits sway Sleepless nights, days Ferries follow streams To crystalline dreams Starry eyes ablaze Waiting our lives long The heart’s divine song Intoning desires With all that inspires Love will come along Travelling nighttime skies Turning planets at sunrise Wishing-wells filled with coins Shattered heart rejoins Hopelessness fades, dies Ascension, finally flying Feather, weight defying It was always within reach Holding sand on the beach Love for us undying And in HIS repeating song Sung to us all along Love will come along © 1999 Corinne Bailey |

I love the imagery in this poem, and I also love the message. You have my vote! "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde "The robbed that smiles steals something from the thief" -Shakespea |
