                    My Gemini Dream

Poof, spark, sizzle, sizzle
I wasn't watching when it hit me
Cupid's arrow of love and the devil's lust
I was captive
Trapped by that aura of mystery
that constantly hovers around you.

Your crooked, mischievous smile
that makes your lips look just that way.
You know the way I mean,
it makes my mouth water and my lips tingle
with a hunger that can only be quenched
by the touch of yours.
The sway of your body
as you walk on those long, wrap around me legs.
The sound of those pointed, black cowboy boots
as they mosie on over.
The feel of your warm hands,
calloused by endless miles hangin' on to that wheel.
Those dancing blue eyes
that I love to get lost in.
Your ability to make me laugh and giggle
like the little girl that I used to be.
The essence of you
has me sleeping with your laundry.
I save phone messages
so I can hear your voice at every whim
And I prefer not to change the sheets.
We go together like
peanut butter and jam,
peaches and cream,
a bolt and a screw.
A perfect fit, that's me and you.

We always enjoy seeing a "First Post" in the forums, Di, and that's particularly true when it's as beautifully written as My Gemini Dream. I fully expected a grand entrance from you. And you haven't disappointed yet.

For those who don't know, Di may be a new Member of the Passionate forums, but she's hardly new to Passions. Her poetry at the main site remains among our most popular, month after month, and I'm very excited to see some new work from her.

This could only be written by a woman who has the cowboy of her dreams...
