State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-06-18 05:00 AM

A touch soft and tender
A whisper full of desire
A gasp of sweet surrender
As passion fuels the fire

No words spoken between them
No promises to be kept
No lies being told tonight
No looking back, no regrets

Longing to hold each other
Such precious little time
Both vowed to another
Being lonely their only crime

Tomorrow bringing sorrow
A brief moment of shame
With the memory of this one night
A release from passion's flames

All my love,
Jeffrey

I lie awake in a world filled with dreams,
but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep

Hey Jeffrey, did you just like, vote for yourself?  ROFLMAO     j/k   I hope to God Ron doesn't allow that, otherwise this will fast become a mess!  hehehe  Hey, this poem really "belongs" in the book, in my opinion, because of the story, so many of us can relate to.  Kind of that "online" thing, you know?  Very nice!

I saw my Love last night for maybe the last time, at least around here where I live. Without going into many details, Jeff, we didn't exactly share in the scenario you described, but there are many elements in there in your offering...well, if you only knew. Much pain, but Eternal Devotion... for both of us. If only...

So well written, Jeff. Hope you don't mind that I print this for myself.

                 Peace,  Geoff
