Then come to me... I wait for you with weary eyes You walk my way still in disguise I call to you a million times And with the breeze your words come back "Then come to me"...you softly whisper When night shall fall and all asleep The moon is watching the stars await We'll ride the heavens while hell does freeze Why rush me now? Just let me float To painless lands where lies a hope Where till the dawn I'll waltz with you And hand in hand all dressed in dreams The music plays and in your arms "Then come to me"...this time a voice Where sorrows vanish so far away Just lay your head and feel so light Feel the music close your eyes Then come to me...nightly asleep Where stars await...another Then come to me...then come to me... death. **************************************************** A note to all readers this is a hypothetical poem based on a story of a man who is ailing and wants to die . Please read me when i say it's not a suicide note. life's for living... **************************************************** < !signature--> If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... We cannot know of darkness unless we have the light to compare it to. Very good poem... I liked reading it..in fact I read it twice.. and it was even better the second time round. Linda M. |

"Feel the music close your eyes Then come to me...nightly asleep Where stars await...another" You keep the reader floating through this poem, Avanti. Quite compelling and still, like a peaceful death might be. Very interestingly written. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
