Gingerlily and Coconut |

I stepped outside and time slowed to a hazy heat wave slow too hot to move kind of crawl The crystal blue sky winked down at my slightly upturned face Innocence recaptured in a moment... From above the sun saw a cherub smiling slightly with the barest glint of smokey green slivered eyes winking back in that knowing sort of way Sweetly soft cradling sunlight Heat rained down saturating white cotton t-shirt and faded denim Raising goose-bumps on milky white skin And I shivered As sweetly felt heard spoken Lightly touched thoughts of you, my secret love Drift floated languidly by on scents of a gingerlily and coconut afternoon What a lovely day it turned out to be |
