Two Lives Entwined

Oh lady
who shares my bed,
and on my pillow
doth lay her head,
canst you see
my heart doth cry,
with the joy of love
that canst never die.
Canst thee tell
that truly 'tis I
whose soul
would die,
if ever
thee said
goodbye.

'Tis grand
this passion
in mine breast,
never,
not ever,
will it be any less,
for the touch
of thy hand,
thy gentle carress,
reignites the flames
so hot
in my chest.

Mine soul hovers
just at thine side,
kissing thine spirit,
wanting inside;
softly,
so softly,
my lips brush thine,
two hearts,
two souls…
two lives,
entwined.

Simply wonderful. Nothing less that great... good job and well worded.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

Thanks ThUnDeRkYsS, CocoBaci and jmlee12345. Thanks for the encouragement. Been in a writing slump (nothing seems to work;even though I've subjected some of it on the forum - you know how that is) but had hopes for this one. Again, thanks.
