I awoke in the middle Of the night And walked around And found everything dark And still in the silence I beheld black curtains Over all the mirrors Time had stopped Frozen in time upon the clocks And it was then I realized, I was dead But the night was Forever young And resuscitated by this I became filled With all the memories Of who I once was And who I imagined Myself to one day be All the feelings of Being alive Once again I feed And Once again I feel As long as this fire exists I will have raison d’etre As long as I do not forget But only in the night For only in the night, Am I forever young |

PK: I have been to this place before and I know what you mean. The night is a wonderful state of being. I do miss it. Your way of reminding me gave me chills. |
