An Ocean UncrossedI was frozen in time on an island of ice I was stilled in a sea full of frost And though noble intent of a dream sacrificed, had embarked on an ocean uncrossed But through dreaming's release of love's lost lullaby sung afar in yon sheltering fold thus our evening arrives weaving threads through the sky painted ribbons of crimson and gold As the silvering strands slide their dance to the light and your eyes are of radiant hue and as chill falls away from this narrowing night let me bask in the blazes of you |

Soft, gentle, and filled with your unique beauty within every line. I especially loved-- "As the silvering strands slide their dance to the light and your eyes are of radiant hue and as chill falls away from this narrowing night let me bask in the blazes of you." Truly gorgeous, my poetic God. ![]() ![]() *Krista Knutson* "You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back." -Barbara DeAngelis |
