Evening's Door Welcome day's end dear, we will greet the night, Darling come with me, through soft evening paces. End old dreams love, fill my eyes with your light, Flow, as a river through all my places We'll say good-bye to the daylight, as it Slips into the past, each moment of care. Say good-bye each ray of light-time, small bit Darkness, visions are here,- with me you'll share In this bed where we live life, love and dreams We bind again. And asleep, we're reborn Joined in the bath of our nightly schemes. So if we know dearth in life, death we'll scorn Yet from your dear heart, the love you bring, Sows all the seeds in my soul of the spring. |

Wil--There are sometimes poems that it is hard to find the words that appropriately say the feeling...and this is one. Well, sheesh, I think you know what I mean. I loved it! |

Corinne- It seems ages ago - I first read some of Pablo's words - I love how he expesses himself- but feel the translations are less than great - I only hope I have not gone too close to him - when I write like this. Thank you for 'stunning' - it makes me beam. Martie - If you love it - then I feel I've done a good job - thank you ethome- I respect your writing so much - an 'excellent' from you is most high praise to me. - Thank you |
