I've been reading between the lines again seeing through tear soaked eyes Locking away another page from our history book I did the giving, you always took And you've been coloring outside the lines again Tell me baby how have we been? 'Cause in my heart I've been gone so long And I can't even remember our wedding song And this fairytales gone on too long Got to find a resting place figure out where I belong 'Cause in my heart I knew it was all wrong I guess I knew too much about you You painted a perfect world for me you thought it would keep me there I found your world can be a bit cold Didn't want to hang around and grow old So it's over it's nothing I just stood there by your side still so lonely and I would sneak out to see him you knew where i was going never took your blinders off are all my friends this lonely? I needed more room had to figure it out I can't get it back and you couldn't tell when I looked in your eyes tearing out another page to shreds...... a mixture of pleasure and pain addicted to this drug so hard to go you had to know we were no good together a love and hate game and I may as well take the blame 'Cause in my heart I've been gone so long And I can't even remember our wedding song And this fairytales gone on too long Got to find a resting place figure out where I belong 'Cause in my heart I knew it was all wrong Julie :) |
