The "Deciding" Factor Oh, have I made the right decision? Lord, it "feels" so right ... I've pondered and I've questioned this, With all my strength and might. So many times I've queried, "Am I ready for this step?" So many sleepless nights where I Have laid awake and wept. One moment, I am sure of it, Another moment ... not; Conversing back and forth within My tattered train of thought. I need to do what's right for "me", These answers I pursue, While weighing out the pros and cons, For is this right for "you"? I've sheltered many feelings, Kept them deeply held within; It's easy to be selfish, And decide upon a whim. But circumstances vary, And I must include in this, The consequences that surround The essence of my wish. If future dreams of happiness Depend upon my thoughts; Then surely this deserves the time And answers I have sought. And through this journey in my mind, As back and forth, I sway; The final, clear conclusion has Arrived to me this day. No longer do I have my doubts, They vanished instantly ... The moment I looked in your eyes, And saw "your" love for "me". /Kit McCallum |

gosh...I wish this could happen to me...it's so hard to make decisions, especialy concerning love. I am going through some torture now and can relate tot his poem. Very well done!! |

I love this poem and the way in which you entitled it.. It makes me think back to when I told my boyfriend, "I love you"..sighhh this is truly a great piece "my love is my motivation my love is my inspiration perception of this poem is your interpretation" -- me |

Yes..yes..I believe in this with all my heart. Of course you want them to say they love you...but when you look into there eyes and see the love...it is so intense and real...James |

Awwwwwwwwwww, the ending was perfect. The rest is so very true, I was just in "a situation".........the sad thing is I fear I have made the wrong decision as I decided with others hearts in mind and not my own.
