Lyric of my life Melody of my heart, song of my soul My destiny dances in your eyes As our dream of love lives and breathes Another one slowly dies Fated to be lifelong lovers If not meant to be man and wife Regardless how the music ends You are the lyric of my life If the day should come when we part One truth will still remain I’ll hear your song forevermore Until its dying strain |

Very good Tara...this could easily be converted into a song if there was a chorus. Great poem! |

*curtsying to Sven* Thank you! Glad it has met with your approval. Toddles, I'm blushing at your reply! Paula, yes, that's my favorite line as well. Ethome, hmmm...I happen to be in love with an aspiring songwriter...perhaps he can do something with this. Thanks for the suggestion! It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E. Henley |

You are the lyric of my life means so much. Well done. "Drink Life as it Comes. Striaght. No Chaser!" "Trust in the Lord always and he will lift you up!" |
