Chasms Of Tomorrow ~*Marge Tindal*~ Chasms of tomorrow Open up and swallow me Floating amidst cascading thoughts Cadenced crunch of cacophonous sound Spinning me 'round Pulling me down into the vortex of soul's seeking Spiraling me into the light of eternity's grace Serenity cloaked in ivory lace lays just to the right of the lamb of fleece Surrender me now to peace Surrender me now to peace Yea, though I walk toward the promise of tomorrow seeking the lamb of peace with no sorrow Let me remember that peace can be found in the joy of today until I'm valley bound ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
