Friendship's Bouquet ~*Marge Tindal*~ Springing from the vine a bloom of beauty comes to call Sleepyhead of Morning Glory unwrapping blossoms gently to all Fresh the buds of spring upon the arbor entwined Sweet, sweet charm of Jasmine is quite simply divine Fragrantly unequalled Snowy white of Gardenia So special is your flowering like a blushing ballerina Magnolia blooms the size of saucers Lemony fresh the scent of spring Breezes blowing deliciously mixing fragrance fit for butterfly wings Not to be outdone Periwinkle peeks over the windowsill Joining the very beauty of the graceful Jonquil A stroll through the garden would not be complete without the blooming of the Rose her petals wafting sweet This bouquet of fragrance I present to you A token of the beauty that in friendship's garden grew For so like the flowers the tending of friendship rare Requires only the nurturing from friends who really care ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
