Come to me

Come to me when autumn chills
Blow o’er the stark and jagged hills
When wayward path’s obscurity
Becomes too dark, please come to me

When ocean storm and perilous wave
Destroy your dreams and all you gave
Whenever you are lost at sea
Turn ‘round the keel and come to me

Please come to me when winter frost
Makes icy ghosts of dreams you lost
When glimmering white shines endlessly
Upon your sorrow, come to me

If ever your heart is void of love
And peace is all your dreaming of
Then tread a path that’s homeward bound
And I will turn your life around

When moon glows on the ocean’s crest
And you are weary of unrest
Then follow the stars, and I will be
Waiting for you to come to me

If you get caught in life’s cruel ways
And can’t escape the tangled maze
If you believe our love is true
Just call my name, I’ll come to you

Walking towards Liz... one step at a time...

Liz,
This is beautiful errr.. and all the rest of the below too

brilliant, shining; beamy, beaming; sparkling, splendid, resplendent, dazzling, glowing; glossy, sleek.

rich, superb, magnificent, grand, fine, sublime, showy, specious.

artistic, artistical; aesthetic; picturesque, pictorial; fait a peindre; well-composed, well grouped, well varied; curious.

(thanks to a thesaurus....   I finally found some words)

regards,
sudhir

Sudhir,

Do I hear you calling my name?
You've got me laughing and it's not even 8AM yet. Good work, Sudhir. Now I need a dictionary to find out what "fait a peindre" means.
But I'll take it as a compliment
This is the best review I've ever had
Thank you, my friend
Liz

Oh Liz ... I'm so glad I got a few moments to read in Open this morning ... between you and Bonnie, I'm feeling much more peaceful to begin the day. This was perfectly beautiful ... I echo all of Sudhir's incredible comments!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Ah, Liz: I'm lost in this romantic dream of a poem. Sigh.. How beautifully you make your words flow into a heavenly tapestry of bliss!
Love, ellie

that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

He'd come to you if he could
There is no doubt I'm sure he would.
You've touched him with this epopee
In conscious dream and revelry.

Marge, I'd settle for "Hi!". But
Sudhir does have a few words up his sleeve.doesn't he? Or else a thesaurus. But I doubt if he ever needs a thesaurus. Thanks, Marge, for the beautiful

Kit, Thank you, dear. I'm glad you liked it

Ellie, Your comments are most eloquent

Sy, I'm glad you were touched

Martie, No words are needed. But thanks for reading and I'm glad you liked it

Coco, I really appreciate your remarks

Paula, You make me smile. Thank you

Aw Elizabeth you continue to stun me with your wonderful poetic arrangements... this is no exception... what a brilliant well crafted word display of the strength of love, with a whole lot of heart thrown right in the middle for a catalyst....great!!!

Liz, you are definitely on the ball with this one, as always. I enjoyed reading this, it truly hit home. Your poesy strikes me with good flow, rhyming lines, and excellent imagery that makes me want to cry because I feel the movement in this one much more so than usual. Thanks for sharing!
