I Miss You My arms are lonely My eyes are blue I'd sleep all day But I'd dream of you I miss you in the morning I miss you at night I miss your lips I miss feeling alright My heart is dreary My lips are unkissed I'd speak your name But I'd say you're missed I miss you at dawn I miss you at noon I miss your love I miss seeing you soon My legs are leaden My heart is sore I'd try to smile But I can't anymore I miss you as I work I miss you as I sleep I miss your care I miss hearing you speak My soul is crying My fingers are bare I'd reach for you But you aren't there I miss your voice I miss your touch I miss your smiles I miss you much too much |

Hello Marsha, this one is beautyful. I´ve just lost my love (after 8 years) and all i can write is that this poem says exactly what i feel right now. I hope that you´ve written that without really having the same problem as me. If not, I wish you all the best and hope that you will cope with your pain. Björn |

Thanks Bjiorn, it's something I think we all have to go through, but boy can it smart! I think that's why we try to hide our hearts so often, because so often they don't get treated as they should. James thank you, missing him is part of the healing. So I wish it would hurry up and heal. |

very touching right from the heart... sad though, you have to let the firefly of hope in your soul to keep on being kindled... take care, regards, sudhir |

Hi Marsha.. Boy, do I know this feeling..... You did a great job on this, especially since it's a subject that brings out some pretty rough emotions when you write about it. I can feel your pain in this one and I just want to say: Don't give up, write, let it all out...... we're here!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

OUCH!!!!!! Your pain is felt way down here it is. You share your heart well and I know this feeling well as I am sure alot of us do. Well written and openly honest. You have a hug of poetic friendship coming from this end. |

You give just to get back but often you lose You live just to sit back and take a big bruise We try just to feel good and look past the bad We cry cause we then should to spill out the sad Keep giving and stay True let your heart be seen Keep living and love you dont be scared to dream Then someday I do believe for all who stay strong That one day you'll be relieved of every sad song By someone as caring and true as yourself That someone will Love you, and give you himself Warm {{{Hugz}}} to you my dear. It is one of the most difficult things in life to deal with, but after all the hurt and emotions... also the most rewarding, because you get paid back ten-fold with good from the right person when you find them. Very heartfelt and hits very close to home :~) Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |

The flow and the emotions entwined into the poem was beautifully done... I only hope you shall find the light and heal someday. Until then... hugs and hugs. ~Artistic~ "Dreams are the touchstones of our characters" -Henry David Thoreau |

Thank you Elizabeth, this is one of those times that everyone no matter how old or young goes through. The support and kind words from my friends on this site help. Although I still say, either Rex, Sunny, Marge, in fact almost any other poet would say it better. |

Ethome, thank you, you know how I feel about your work so praise from one, who in a couple of sentances, capture emotion so perfectly is praise indeed. Thank you |
