Yeah! I'm a poet... was my first reaction to, the realization rhyming words was something I could do. Random thoughts inside my head bouncing to and fro. I began to sound like Dr. Seuss, but how I loved it so. Newspaper, toilet paper, on the palm of my hand... disregarded scraps of paper, with a stick in the sand. Crayon, ink or pencil lead... even blood would do. Praying there was one more word I could find to rhyme with 'you'. I spent my nights in cafes drinking cappacino. Reading all my work out loud so that everyone would know. But as the nights and days went on, sheets of paper I did fill. From my head onto the page words continued to spill. With my Muse on my heels there is not a moment's peace. For the words, thoughts, images... simply will not cease. Inspirations seem to come at the oddest time. If I finally go to sleep I even dream in rhyme. It is a blessing and a curse, though at first I didn't know it. My reaction should have been... Oh no! I'm a poet! --You can either take me as I am...or you can watch me as I go.-- |

I love this! It reminds me of something I heard before... I'm a poet and don't know it. The words flow very nicely, I look forward to reading more. Deb BloomingRose |

Hi T.A........ Oh, yes, you really are a poet, and a great one at that!! I really enjoyed this one, and there's a lot of us who've used toilet paper, for writing. I like those little bar napkins, especially when they get wet!!! I have only one goal in life.. It Is: To have more than one goal in Life!! ~ ~ by Sunny ~ ~ |

Tennessee Angel...you sure your name isn't MMoonchild...I feel the exact same way..I even needed a pen in a book store the other day...left mine home...so I borrowed one from the clerk...they didn't have any for sale. I bought a $16 journal to write in because I felt guilty...but I sure wrote a lot of ideas that wouldn't stop their flow... ~~soft smiles Maureen |
