“BEING WITH YOU” The first day that I met you, how was I suppose to know, that my closed heart would open, and become as soft, as a rainbow? Raindrops came down, out of the sky, and touched my face so wet. You have made me so very happy, and I will never, ever forget. The breeze sighs through the trees, a melody it sings, with each pause. It sometimes sounds like your soft voice, whispering that you love me, because. I can hear the peaceful stream, as it flows, gently, just like your touch. Soft and tender too, I love you so very much. I see you standing there, You’re like a statue, but oh so real. Remember that night long ago, when you and I made our deal? We vowed this love would last, and sealed it with a kiss. I say to you my lover, we will never go amiss. Throughout my life I’ve dreamed, of someone to caress me, like you do. The guardian angel that I believe in, took my heart, and gave it to you. This night we will be one, have patience and you’ll see. I’ll be yours, and you’ll be mine, and we’ll know total ecstasy. The moonlight will always be ours, dreaming of the things we should do. I yearn for only one thing in my heart, and that is to spend one evening, with you. Bill Charles |

Wow Bill, made me cry so beautiful and tender..I sometimes wonder if there are men like you really out there who know how to appreciate women who are in the years of maturity...trying to say it nicely...I sometimes think everyone thinks that after 50 we are dead inside... ~~soft sighs Maureen anyway I loved this * bound to make some enemies not explaining this correctly.... |

Hello Sunny.... Thank you for your most generous comments, and one day I do hope that I can put some of these writings into song, as I have done in the past. The best to you my friend. |

Aww Maureen, Please don't cry, beauty and tenderness is suppose to touch the heart with warmness, not touch the eyes with tears. Well, I can't speak for others, but mature women can be very romantic and caring, very good qualities, if I may say so. And yes, I do believe in opening the door. Thanks so much again Maureen, for coming by my place, and for your so sweet comments . Bill Where to do you get such beautiful words and thoughts and gently write them into a poem. Exquisitely done. Always a pleasure reading what you've penned. Note: Maureen: No explanation needed for those of us over that certain age - we still have alot of beautiful thoughts inside. |
