the coldness forsakes
connecting
fearing the unsticking
a warm tongue wronged
fearing the flood
of the melting ice
residing just under
the skin despite
erotic feminine decorations
to the contrary
the coldnes hides
behind impenetrable eyes
almost inviting exploration but
icicles defend against
any appropriate advances
stationary hands falsely
testify to the
the not
need to be held
the not
need to hold
back but
the warmness tries and
tries
on bended knee
the cold it fights
to bind
me
to me and
to
a greater power
yet
the cold continues
and
I
am disconnected

toooooooo awesome.... too vivid... too cold... too lonely... too wonderful... too much i have to say that can't be said here... perhaps the idea i had won't work...

this piece bleeds the distance of being in the same room with a crowd and how lonely it can make you feel... wonderful writing, K
