Petals fall but not too far The scent stays near its Mother dear Soon to bloom another one Join the others in soft array Velvet touch, misty drops Reach for the sun Such great fun Petals fall, but not too far Softly they lay Wish they would stay The wind blows... there they go Where? No one knows BR < !signature--> [This message has been edited by BloomingRose (edited 08-10-2000).] |

There's a subtlity with this - its more than petals - that I really like - a window to your soul - well done BR |

Thank you all for the warm welcome and nice comments. I am enjoying all the reading. To write a poem is new to me, but to put to pen whatever is within, can't be so bad for the soul. ![]() Debra BloomingRose |
