I drove into the large driveway A feeling of nervousness overtook I saw them In the car next to me and felt relieved I didn't have to walk in alone. The walk down the steps was long It felt like an eternity and as I reached that bottom step Everyone shouted their hellos You turned around so that your back was no longer facing me and starred, I think you smiled but I don't remember All I did was say hello It was a different hello than everyone else's somewhat quieter, more sincere It had been a long time since we had seen one another You definately smiled after the hello I started talking to others but could feel your eyes on my back watching my every move and my legs grew week I was so nervous about doing this again about facing the past so that I could move on with the future. I finally sat down, to calm the feeling of my legs giving out. The entrance had ended and the night had begun would it be a night of memories rehashed? Or would it just be like every other? that was left to be determined. "In three words I can sum up everything I learned about life: It Goes On" ~Robert Frost |

You have a distinct advantage - My name betrays my sex - with an androgenous name and a poem that makes no mention of either your sex or the object of your weak knees - you leave me wondering. - all this is beside the point however - since you created a snapshot - many of us could identify with and did it well - I like it ![]() |

Hi Martini... Yes, entrances are nerve-wracking!! I hope the night proved to be calming! Enjoyed the read!! Life is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Wilfred: I'm glad you enjoyed and I'll let you in on a little secret, the object of my weakness is a he, he is someone i miss very much in my life right now. Daniel: Thanks so much, i'm glad you enjoyed. Sunny: Aren't they though, I almost felt like my legs were going to give out beneath me. I was amazed how someone who not too long ago knew everything about me and always made me feel completely comfortable al of a sudden made me feel slightly self-consious. Mark: As always I love hearing your replys. I will continue this one so you know how the night went. "In three words I can sum up everything I learned about life: It Goes On" ~Robert Frost |
