The north wind blows it’s icy chill as we linger near the fire. Outside the air, thick with frost. Inside burns ..desire. Sheltered from frigid air, safe from winters blow. Our hearts full of yearning, as embers softly glow. Your strong hands hold me close, caressing my heated skin. Passions burn fiery hot, the coldness gone within. Words of eternal love from our lips are spoken. Promises of forevermore, never to be broken. Entwined in loves luminous dance, hearts fervid with loves flame. We once knew only of icy chill, now we’ll never be the same. Suddenly, reality, when from a dream I wake Alone I rise from crispy sheets, alone... my bed I make. 6/3/00 [This message has been edited by angelsamongus (edited 08-09-2000).] |

This is lovely. The contrast between outside chill and inside warmth within the dream is very nicely illustrated, and I enjoyed how you fashioned your surprise ending. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
