The first my eyes drank of her, My memory shall ever keep. T'was a warm summer eve, Full of moon, climbed to steep. As I sat upon a fallen tree, A meadow, small, my view, A vision appeared! Sending thoughts askew! I blinked! I rubbed! Blinked again! My eyes played tricks, My thought. No! Was not a phantom visage seen! For this lovely delight, was so real. In flowing silk, gracefully she danced, Delicately leaping, spinning with zeal. Entranced! Intoxicated! I watched, Unable to move, My eyes bound. No, chained, Unto this bewitching enchantress. Her frolicking cavort, brought her near. Such beauty, such entice, had I ever known. My heart pounded, seeing all, through silk so sheer. Voluptuous, Yet winsome. Sensual, Yet sweet. Qualities too many to count or name. My thoughts raced wildly, madly, nonplus. Though motionless, still transfixed, I sat. When sudden, she quit her dance, looking about thus. Her gaze bore through me. Her smile dissolved. With great resolve, My way she strode, Straight to where I sat. My heart near stopped, She peering down, My eyes locked to her's. Was it fear or excitement, That held me in solid grip? I knew not, nor did I care, For next, upon my lap she sat. Her arm slipped 'round my neck, As honeyed lips found mine and pressed.
