The Drummer's GhostSet out, through the vale of evergreen night 'mongst the stirrings of castling clove with the cadence sustained in the warrior's vein ride on, past the cinnamon grove Ride on, through the temples of tallest trees with each fall of the palm to the drum ever keeping your eyes to the crimson skies ride on, 'fore the morning has come Trip to the thrum of the bodhran's throb to the drones of our ancient hosts aflight on the wings of our Eastern strings ride on with the drummer's ghost |

The only thing wrong with it is the fact that it ended much too soon!!! Wonderful!!!!!! Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |

Very powerful...I loved the 'cinnamon groves' and 'temples of tallest trees'. Such exquisite imagery my friend. This is why you're a Poetry God in my book! ![]() *Krista Knutson* "You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back." -Barbara DeAngelis |

I slipped right into the atmosphere of The Highwaymen or something similiar..excellent writing, especially when you can capture the attention of the reader so well with a great title and content to make it work. Just great work! |
