Those Three Little Words How do I tell you Those three little words? As I look into your warm eyes Looking down at me My minds bursts to tell you My mouth wanting to speak But my overprotective heart Hesitates with a soft cry So long I have built walls So high and so strong Afraid of loving again Should I leave you in? Can I trust the words of love You whisper so softly to me? My stomach churns and My hands shake My heart begins to flutter Wanting to be set free With a deep breath and a soft sigh The words tumble from lips I wait, my breath catching Then I see your loving eyes Shining down at me I feel you tender lips Meet my own and My fragile heart soars With the love it’s been waiting for And happiness I thought I would never know again. |

Hi rosepetals25, Three little words, I wonder what they could be? Are they "Goodby my love?" Or, I love thee? Nicely done rosepetals, the ending was suberb. |

Wonderful words of expression and I know this feeling well. I am just now trying to get half way there and your words say much of what I feel so deep inside....well written and full of loving release. |
