THE LIST You asked me to make a list to read, of all the things I think you need That I should consider your hopes and dreams and know in my heart what it all means This task I took on with all my heart but had such a time in beginning to start It’s not that I don’t see all what you want me to it’s just hard to find, the words that will do I am no longer blind as I may have been in the past I have opened my heart to a love that will last. What may have seemed as indifference to you was really just fear blocking a love so true. For every mistake or word mis-spoken my efforts today seem only a token for there is no way for me to explain how great my love is under all of that pain Yet so powerful this love that I feel for you that no matter what you may say or may do I will continue to try have you see clear what in the words you can not hear This heart and soul now exist for only you they thrive on those moments that are too few but in time you should know without any doubt You heart and soul is what they’re all about So I begin my list with help from above and hope you consider this effort with love |
