We talked for awhile, I trusted you, I was mesmerized by your smile. I told you about how he hurt me, It was so very hard, You said that you could set my troubles free. You said all the right things, Nothing you said was wrong, I thought you were a angle with hidden wings. Your eyes were the deepest blue, I got lost in them, I felt hole again with you. You loved me the way that he did, It was the first time since he left, All of my sadness was hid. When the morning came, I was all alone again, Everything was the same. I cried while laying in my bed, How could you leave, My god, I believed everything you said. |

First of all...welcome to Passions. Very sad poem.....it's good to be able to get your feelings out in a form of artistic expression such as a poem....you portray your feelings very well here.........by the way, not all are the same, there are lots of good ones out there. |

Beth, Thank you! I'm still new at this I know that I'm not close to being a "geat" poet, but I try and it is always nice to hear what people think. ethome, I know that there are good ones. I just can't seem to find one. But I wont give up on it. I will let you know when I do.  Thanks, Samantha |
