This is the first thing I ever wrote. It is inspired by meeting a very special friend at night. She meets meet at night in a very special place. There is also more to this story, she is married and so am I. We meet while I am at work, a job which allows me to be driving around at night. We have known each other for years, but only recently began to talk. We started by talking on the computer, even though we only lived blocks away, then on the phone and in person. She has become my very best friend. She is something I really need at this time in my life. I will be writing more about her. David NIGHT MEETINGS The sun begins to slide down the horizon, My hopes rise as the day fades away. I drive and look for you, hoping to see you in the dark night. We meet in secret where no one can see. I just want you to be with me. We talk under the stars and moon, I am sad cause I know you must leave soon. I am graced with a kiss, something I know I will miss, when you drive away in the night. I drive around thinking of you and the kiss, wanting the sun to rise then fade again, for a chance to see you one more time. |

Thanks for the post. The friend I write about is someone very special. I am inspired to write, something I have never done it my life. I hope I can continue to write what I feel. |
