Betsy the Alien

Did I ever tell you the story
About the UFO I found?
I was looking out my window
Because I thought I heard a sound
Though this story is quite lengthy
I will try to keep it short
But I gotta tell you this,
These things you don't report

Well I went to see what this thing was
With all them silly lights on it
When out there popped this little dude
After that I don't remember a bit
I woke and found that I was in
Some place with doctor things
They said they'd make me smarter
And they did, I got more brains

They had a woman with twelve eyes That was certainly pretty enough
But them things that lived inside her hair
Well, that was a little tough

Her name was Betsy the alien
And there was tiny people in her hair
These little guys had thirteen eyes
And all they did was stare

Now Betsy had a real fine shape
But I couldn't bear them little guys
All they did was talk and stare
At me, with all them eyes

They wanted to marry Betsy off
The last of the litter that she be
And get her hitched to a smart earthman
That's why they did that stuff to me

But this chick such had noisy hair
That I felt it would be for the best
To tell them where my best friend lived
So they all left and went over there

Since that night I haven't seen
This friend that always was my best
I heard he moved real far away
Most likely was some place out West

I sure do miss that Betsy
She sure had a pretty name
Though I know it was unworldly
I still liked it all the same

Since then I don't investigate
Some disturbing noise in the night
I don't go out when it is late
And I keep on every light

          This was such fun to read...it

          like myself can never resist a
          good alien story!!)
