White tiger Winter Come down from your mountain-top Your season is here Give your winter-wind-roar And slash your claws of ice Across the frozen earth Make your meal of warmth And sleep until spring I've lately been lamenting for Winter in Dark Passions #2 so I thought I'd share some cold weather words in here. Sing while you may -The Prophet Q'spel Your pain is for you alone, As it is, As it was, As it will be forever, Amen -The Prophet Q'spel |

Ian~ Your phrases create a lovely image. But I don't want to give up the warm and wonderful days of summer ! I'm a lover of hot weather ... but your poem offers refreshment. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

I agree with Marge...I'm from up north in the cold country and I am clinging to the wonderful days of summer as long as I can before that white tiger winter as you call it comes and claws at my face. Great verse ..enjoyed. |
