Feathered touches fly < !signature-->Over creamy curves of skin Graceful fingertips falling Tracing a visage brushed with twilight And memorizing every softness. ~*~ Sweet words flow around us Rivers of crystal feeling Bathing hollowed wounds Within our worn and tired souls. ~*~ I yield to your every kiss And know you in every breath... ~*~ Sighs of velvet encircle Curling through the cool air While forever gleams in the cerulean pools Of your honest eyes. ~*~ Shivers glide deep within As you soothe me with your light... ~*~ Wrapped within your silvered wings In a cocoon of feathered touches I know that love is what we are And will forever be. ~*~ *Inspired by Abrahm (Dusk Treader), the angel in my life. *Krista Knutson* "You never lose by loving. wow. it's amazing since after my long hiatus from Passions, to see how much you've evolved as a writer, you've improved so much since teen poetry #1. Thank you for sharing that sweet poem and giving inspiration, that yes, work does get better with practice. Unrequited love sucks. |
