There is a harp within the wind that plucks at my soul
playing me in the orchestra of fools

Cymbals of our love haunt the night in the breeze
as the drum in my heart beats alone

There is a harp within the wind that plucks at my soul
entangled within maple batons of the night

In the pit of my being my heart aches for you
but the curtain of the night has descended

You are not in the spotlight of my heart anymore
I am free to love and be loved by another

In the wings I await for my cue for love
knowing his love will upstage yours

There is a harp within the wind that plucks at my soul
hoping his love, not a theatrical role

Victoria~
I really liked the musical accompaniment to this theatrical piece.
VERY well done.

'In the wings I await for my cue for love
knowing his love will upstage yours'

Go for the second curtain call, gal ! !
Applause !

Leave em always wanting more....An old saying in the biz...dont remember who said it but I do know that your supporting actor will miss his Leading Lady....got to if he has any sense at all.  Now of course he will just have to watch as you upstage him in life and love with your more deserving partner that I am sure will be in the wings very soon.  Wonderful write.

you can always be counted to supply rich imagery - this time I read strength and fortitude as well - you go girl - give them an encore they'll never forget
