A Lover's duet by Sunny and Bill

(When a woman falls in love...)

When a woman falls in love,
she sees the world in a different way...
And all things rise above forgotten
dreams of yesterday...
The sun shines down upon her face,
as fresh as morning dew...
Emerald eyes begin to shine,
each time she thinks of you...

(When a man falls in love)

When a man falls in love...
He, too, sees the world in a different way...
As he dreams of things that were,
and all the pain that's gone away...
The same sun is also on his face,
very warm, like his loving heart...
Soft blue eyes will sparkle for her,
when they are together and close...

It doesn't matter what her age...
A woman always knows...
It starts with a giddy-feeling stage...
From there it only grows...
It sometimes happens overnight...
A thing she can't control...
She thinks of you, and she can't fight
the longing in her soul...

Her age doesn't really matter...
She can be young or mature...
At times he doesn't know his heart,
for on it's journey, it opens a door...
It can happen just over night,
this feeling of wanting her close...
He thinks of her, and knows it's alright,
as each other, are the ones they chose...

You may be quite within her reach,
or far across the land...
You might be free and single...
Or a very married man...
She may be within a cage,
that hasn't any door...
But that just doesn't matter...
She is falling more and more...

He may not be too distant from her
but it always seems, that it is so far...
There are many ties that he may have,
or perhaps, he may have a deep scar...
Just possible, he cannot get free,
as he is behind a locked door...
But nothing can change his heart...
He is also falling, more and more...

The situation looks, at best,
like some bad fairy tale...
The only contact at this point,
is through electric mail...
But she knows Fate can bring two
lovers that which they desire...
And all the time apart will only
add fuel to their fire...

This situation may be at best,
a very bad fairy tale...
Electronics are a wonderful thing,
one can hear your voice in detail...
Fate can be very fickle in doing,
what two lovers need and desire...
And if they are apart so terribly long,
total warmth from the fire will they aspire..

There will one day be a place,
where eyes and lips can meet...
And all the waiting time between,
will make it much more sweet...
And when at last your love is joined,
complete throughout all time...
Then you'll look back and read this...
Love she gave to you..in rhyme...

The place one day, there will be,
where a gaze and soft lips are together...
Whatever the time, it may happen to take,
will be the time for each admirer...
To cherish, and to gently touch,
waiting to see the one he chose...
And to cherish her, he will want you to read,
The love he gave to you, in prose...

When two differences in love become one the ya gotta know that it is gonna shine and it does.  You two continue to put out some terrific pieces in here and I will continue to read them as long as you do.  Beautiful from both of you.

Hi Sunshine...
Yes, I talked to Michael Mack about it, and he said he'd pass the word on.
It would be fun, don't you think?
Nice to see you here, sis!!

Hi Sunny,
Just beautiful Sunny, just beautiful! What a talent you are, and again, as before, thanks for being partners. I do hope that Passions decides to go to the duet Forum. What a place that would be to express two writings that would blend into one. Thanks Sunny.

Hello Bill...
I think it's beautiful too, but that's because of your answer in it!! I hope the Duets Forum happens, and it would be fun to post there with you.  As for being your partner......it is unquestionably my honor, for you are my muse in spirit and thought......

Wow!  This is absolutely beautiful.  My love and I could have written it ourselves, if we'd thought of it.  The two of you did an EXCELLENT JOB!  I can't wait to read more by you.

Take me as I am or watch me as I go

Hi Tara.....
It's so good to see you here!!
Yes....We've put the bug in Ron's ear to start a new forum called 'Duets'.  Bill and I have such fun writing together, and I'm sure that there are other partners out there who would like a special place to post. It might be nice for the greeting card section to have some combination stuff.  We'll see what happens!! Thank you for your lovely reply, and we have more that we're working on. I'd like to see you and your love write some, too.......would be great reading!!

Hello Mr 'Deer'.....

Always a pleasure to see you stop by!
Working together just comes natural to Bill and I, and we love to write.  He's a genius, and a great partner, so it makes for a lot of fun!  Like the saying goes...
       "If it feels good.....'Duet'"!!

   Thank you, my friend!!
