faded with child-like dreams of utopian exsistance something's slipped away in the dark a secret innocence a gentle kiss your tender smile and in it's stead a jaded heart reigns over a wasteland kingdom of should-haves and not-dones all bowing in humble obeisance to the reticent supreme queen unwillingly crowned by a defeated nation and all the while lingering just overhead just out of reach that elusive something that causes hearts to shed tears of real blood and kingdoms to crumble with a puff of wind |

Sounds like more than a puff of wind to me. Loved it though and through..especially where you left it in the end. just overhead just out of reach that elusive something that causes hearts to shed tears of real blood and kingdoms to crumble with a puff of wind |

i was going to quote the same exact lines that Mark quoted, heather... then i noticed he did, so i won't... but i will say this is an awesome piece... very well crafted with excellent imagery and powerfully full of honest emotion... could you tell... i LOVE it! *wink* (hug) |
