digital connections and somewhat righteous justice

the situation went from awful
to dangerous
in a matter of seconds
and a few shouted words
on the other end
of a not far-enough away
connection
the only connection between you and I
now
a digital cable of noise and light
as your twisted lips spout lies
professed as truths
and berate me when I declare them so
you can't see me for all the hate you feel
yet, in your mind there is no hate
just righteous justice
dished out by an untrained judge
smug and sure are you of your rights
but so unaware
that though my case may be lost
I will in the end prevail
for happiness and true love
win over all
even you

I can connect with the happiness part...sometimes we realize that life has been bringing us down and happiness becomes a major goal...I hope you find the happiness you seek with or without your someone special...James
