Cool is the whisper, of breezes at dawn, The kiss of morn's dew, on emerald green lawn. Smell of sweet jasmine, angelic bouquet, Soft glow of sun's rising, advent of new day. Verdant the meadow, in morning's begin, Songbirds awaken, commencing day's din. Darkness retreating, onslaught of the sun, Helios the victor, of warmth does forerun. Alone in the distance, no jewel can compare, A single primrose, pure beauty so rare. First rays of the sun, lone primrose encase, Splendor of nature, in dawning's embrace. |

Mike~ Always caught in the beauty of your roses - 'First rays of the sun, lone primrose encase, Splendor of nature, in dawning's embrace.' You draw the roses so well - I've only to fill the vases with your fresh bouquet. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

What a beautiful bouquet you paint with your words! I loved the imagery. A primrose by any other name would still be called Mike ![]() Take care, Melissa Honeybee The beauty of poetry gives my soul wings to fly free within dreams |
