Afterlust daybreak hinting around the skylight CDs blasting serene melodies feeling giddy in the Morningafter as the cold arranges what I think cozy-shimmy down in my four-poster empty now except for me dozy with your taste in my mouth & the exquisite commotion that you leave shadowprints my body over, waning warm spots in my bed must leave the covers the way they tangled when, with watch advice, you shyly fled mind slipping easy with the flu of you fever burning up my eyes and lips and fingertips dizzy stars around my head -- me sinking in my stupid grin vain attempts to sleep to dream about you as I giggle and push the pillow in |

grandiloquent, it was grand and it was eloquent, with vivid imagery to boot. I loved it Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Billy, you keep me grounded when silly fear/impatience wind into my doubts. Thank you for your persistance and generous compliments. SpitFire, *grins* Well, I guess that means you liked it And you're going to do further research? woohoo! Kit, Thank You. Hmm, sounds like it would've been a lovely experience to have sorted through your mind as you read this. With that sort of mind's eye, I'd love to see your interpretation of a similiar scenario... do you have anything posted I can seek out? doreen, Word from you is such high praise... gollygoshgeesthanks *blushes* Martie, Wow, this went all the way to your lips? I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you for reading! Kethry, I can hardly come up with a reply quite so flattering and concise as yours... A few timid words of gratitude: I'm so glad you enjoyed it; thank you for taking the time to let me know you did. p.s. I don't know that I would call anything I've ever written grand or eloquent, but, heavens, you made my day by saying so! ~megan |
