In Your Friendship I Have Grown ~*Marge Tindal*~ I have not walked this way alone You grasped my hand and you held on Held the fragility of my tears Brushed away my sorrow and quelled my fears You took my joy and made it your own Magnified it with friendship sown Within my heart the seed did grow And came to blossom with love's overflow You painted phrases of everseem And told me of your pleasured dreams Shared with me the thoughts of sage Wrote your heart across the page You sang your songs so I could hear Whispered sighs upon my ear You held my heart while it was breaking Touched me with your gentle waking I have not walked this way alone For in your friendship I have grown ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
