In the dead of the night
The voices within
Continue to scream in my mind
Incredibly confused
And not understanding
No pity from them will I find

They tell me things
And control my thoughts
I lose all self-control
Trying to sleep
My thoughts start to wonder
My mind begins to slow

Beads of sweat
Flow down my brow
As my heads caves slowly in
My eye's closed tight
Hands over my ears
As the voices slowly win

Better to die, and sleep
The never-waking sleep, than linger on
And dare to live when the souls life is gone.

And once again, thank you for replying.

Very enjoyable piece!  Eery almost!  Great job!
