The Storm and the Ocean
"Senryu's"

Thunder Storms were then,
Though now the spatters seem thin,
Still they flood my heart.

Unrelenting waves,
Pounding mountains into sand,
Love still in the grains.

James Parker Haley Sept 19, 2000.

Parker very nice. I'm not sure I've seen this side of you before. Very nice indeed.

Parker,
I loved every single word. Perfectly Pleasing! I like how you think.....and how you have said so much with so few words. I love all the sides you behold as a poet as well as your "uniquness" (I am not sure if that is a word...lol)......Take Care

sincere and honest emotions here p-man...
I think I know where these come from ...
if we can look back without regret
and remember the lessons learned ...
we can let go of the losses and hold on
to the memories.
Love the metaphors you used in these little gems of poetry.
but then I love when ever you do multiples

Very nice James.  You are really very good at these Haiku's and Senyu's.

Nice to see you have your muse back........

WOW..parker, youve said so much in such a small space..

"though now the spatters seem thin..."
"pounding mountains into sand..."

time makes the big things seem less big aye..and in the end we find that love was there somewhere..perhaps still is..

absolutely wonderful, parker..loved every word

Parker~
These are wonderful thought-depicting Senryu's.
You continue to grow, my friend.
