Have you ever thought
to stop
Not just whistle out
the car??,
Have you ever thought
to talk to me
Not just sit and smile from
the bar??.
Why say to your mate
'Hey did ya see that chick?',
Why not turn to me and say
'Wanna see a flick?'.
Are you really that vain
that my looks matter most??,
If you knew me as a person
you'd have reason to boast.
So hey
Now that you know I dont
miss a beat,
Stop classing me as just a
Piece of Meat!

Was hoping to see one from you that was
Tender(loin) and Sweet-n-(sour)......kidding there girlie...how could any man just look at YOU that way.  Your poems have shown so much of the beauty within you.  If that is all they are after than just keep on running girl.

You know I loved it.

You drew me in this morning because I was hungry, Beth.  Alas, no poetic breakfast for me.
Although, I did feast on this poem.
I would suggest that the guys, to whom you refer, are probably not the ones that you would want to take the time for you.  The nice ones are too shy to be so crass.
So, if you would, please reserve a place on your dance card for me.  If James and Sven leave enough time, of course!

I had fun, but I shan't whistle.

Humbly,

Trev.

Beth...

I really enjoyed your poem...You are so right in what you say, why is it this way? Why can`t people be judged for what they are instead of how they look...
I know that the inside of a person you care about is much more beautiful than the outside ever can be, and that`s real beauty...The one that conunts...

Ask me how to live your life, and this to you I´ll say: make your choises true and wise, so that when tomorrow will arise, you´ll smile at yesterday...
