Through the Years Through the years I have learned many things I have learned that rescue Isn't a love that remains I have learned that honor Carries a heavy price to pay I have learned that doing right Has cost me in many ways. Through the years I have remained where I am least happy to be Please God set me free. Through the years I have done the right thing I have been there and remained For my kids' sake Through the years I needed to know When is it my time to know Joy, happiness, and laughter Through the years I have always searched I always wanted to feel That it's ok to move on. Through the years I have lived in a war zone The 38th parallel of life We meet in the middle Through the years I sought to work it out To find that love that is lost And yet, we just coexist Through the years I have often wondered Does till death do you part Mean dying an emotional death. Through the years I wonder why I staid In such a pain filled state Just trying to muddle through Through the years I surmised that it Must be lack of guts To make the big break < !signature--> Beacon of Hope! and through the years, I have often wondered how time can fly by so fast when each day drags by in misery...I'm with you "start"-- and I am just figuring out as well, that no decision is a decision in itself...thanks for sharing this! |

Serenity: Yes, no decision is a decision in and of itself. Now I know in order to survive I must choose. I will have an empty nest next June. Thanks SF |
