Glowing softly in the sky
The moon is hanging very high
It's shape is round and full
On the ocean it gently pulls

Seeping onto the barren shore
Spreading out a little more
The sea engulfs the sand
As the moon takes command

Surrounded by tiny stars
Reaching out so very far
Shining brightly down on me
Looking over the deep sea

I walk along the beach
Within the ocean's reach
Thinking about the past
Free of tears now at last

The wind caresses my hair
I move without a care
My heart is feeling very light
On this beautiful moon-filled night

Lonewolf, I wanted you to know, how much this poem touched my heart, gave me peace when I needed it most, thank you for sharing. It went right in line with my poem, With tears in my eyes. It came at just the right moment.

As the moon sets free the soul
And brightly shines upon your tears
You are on your way to your new goal
Walking proud without all the past fears

Step high and step proud into the tide
Hold your head up and smile your smile
Smiling with Luna as you venture with pride
As you walk into life given that extra mile.

Beautiful poem, Lone Wolf!  I especially loved it because I am a sucker for the moon shining over the sea!
That sense of relief you portray is comforting.

You know the power that the moon holds. . .
now go and follow it
be not swayed by the songs of others
but follow your own song
and that will lead you on

Excellent LW. . . you're stretching yourself too, I see. . .

The moon is shining here tonight
The gentle glow, the soft pale light
But, it seems, the moon I see
Shines brighter yet, when seen by thee.

A beautiful poem, Jenn.  I'm so glad that happiness has entered back into your writing.
It speaks volumes.

LoneWolf~
Ah .... but surely the spirit of the wolf
would enjoy the beauty of the moon.
Such lovely thoughts to cavort across the page.
Beautiful feelings, my friend.
