No, I'll wait here; I'll find it; It'll find me Once again-- The song that once lifted me High above the benches On a cloud for one. There's nothing like it! Once again I'll sail above and beyond The sneer of these critics, Thinking their opinions Are exclusive. Go on, I'll be fine; I wouldn't be able To give of myself, anyway. The drums will roll, I know. I'm sure life Will drag on, But I'll wait here; I'll forever wrack my brain For that wonderful tune. |
