While hollyhocks sway in the wind,
Their roots will hold on tight,
So that when the storm is over,
They can rise to their full height.

When rain and hail attack us,
And the wind is blowing strong,
Roots that go deep into the ground
Keep us firm where we belong.

Very true. It's the hard times that make us strong. Though unpleasant they are necessary. Very well expressed, Dom!
