Morning Prayer

On the rise of slope I stand
Morning dew greets my lips
To the north I face the land
On the right I lift my hand
Encompassing the rise of sun
On the left I lift my hand
Full moon sits in my palm
All is calm, all is calm.

“O Great Father
Earth below my feet
Sun held in my right hand
Moon rests in my left hand
For all that you have given
This world
For your people
Know that I thank you.”

On the rise of slope I stand
Morning dew greets my lips
To the north I face the land
On the right I lift my hand
Encompassing the rise of sun
On the left I lift my hand
Full moon sits in my palm
All is calm, all is calm.

So now I am peaceful......thank you my friend.  A beautiful verse of thanks from you to what we so often take for granted.

Karilea~
He's set the sun in the morning
the moon in the night ...
and what joy when they are in alignment
and all the world is at that calming time.

Thanks for sharing these thoughts.
