Is it you? Speak to Me…[revised] Oh my poetic visionary, my lover extraordinaire could I be your desired one, would I even compare to those you've treasured and lusted in your life so long ago or would you rather me, here, now, not even begin to know? Tho I cannot give you my all, nor my universe, but my entire being for all of its temporal worth, for when I grasp your pledge of giving and of love I feel as if I've been newly born and thereby lustily birthed. You've laid bare all my senses, I feel as if you're the sun by entering my private areas, those I've kept for just The One. Is it you? Is it you? Are my dreams encircled in your speech of poetry and prose and rhymes that for me beseech? Not looking for this stirring, your words have left me reeling, I hesitate to clarify for my knees they have gone weak. Is it you? Could it be? Are you the one that to me have brought your mortal love that I did not know I've sought … is it you? Or are you then but a dream that I've webbed so fine and are your words then spirits whispering through the pines as I lay here 'neath nature's window, alone but not despaired for at least your words have whispered that which I would share. 13 August, 1999 ©KRJ revised 11 September 2000 |

Hey...where did this come from? (smile) Sunshine, this is very rich, loved the "lustily birthed" just incredible, and... "Are you then but a dream that I've webbed so fine..." so perfect...a delicate thing, is it not? To the top with this...wonderful!!! |

JMHO - but the one to whom this was written - ought to be groveling at your extremely wonderful poetic feet - especially after the wonderful piece above |

Sunshine, this is absolutely incredible. . . I'm running out of words to describe your writing. . . I may have to begin to resort to these. . . I agree with Wilfred, whoever you wrote this for should be bowing at your feet. . . continuously. . . Excellent poem my friend. . . ---------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

This is very sweet, Karilea. Now, spill the beans, girl. Who's the lucky guy? You can tell me. I won't tell a soul. Honest. |
