she longed to take to the skies but as of yet her long awaited wings had not arrived she longed to conquer her fears (of life, heights, and other things) she yearned to be free aloft on thermal updrafts oh if only she could fly if only she could taste the freedom of a winter-travelling flock of geese maybe the winds would dry her tears maybe the sun would break through this eternal, infernal cloud cover and shine down upon her glistening wings oh if only she could fly! I'll simply say - if not you - your words - they DO fly - Now as for yourself - I'd recommend a relatively modest expenditure: I'm sure local to you somewhere - there are vendors who offer time in a hot air balloon OR in a glider -a hour or a 1/2 hour well spent! |
